WordPress Development
A website that works on both sides of the editor.
A WordPress site needs to serve readers and the people maintaining its content. We build purpose-built themes and editing structures that make publishing practical without leaving the frontend tied to a generic template.
Problems this service solves
When publishing becomes harder than it should be.
Layouts that are easy to break
Editors need useful flexibility without rebuilding the same layout or accidentally changing its structure.
Content trapped in presentation
Repeated information is stored in page-builder layouts rather than in fields that can be reused or queried.
A site that has accumulated too much
Theme overrides, plugins, and old decisions make updates difficult and performance unpredictable.
WHAT WE CAN BUILD
Build around content, editing, and delivery.
Purpose-built themes
Responsive layouts and reusable templates shaped by the content and the site’s real requirements.
The editing experience and the public website are designed together.
- Gutenberg editing
- Custom blocks, patterns, and editing constraints that support a consistent publishing workflow.
- Structured content
- Content types, fields, and relationships that make information easier to maintain and reuse.
- Headless WordPress
- A separate frontend when the delivery needs justify the additional preview, hosting, and integration work.
Engineering approach
Content structure comes before page decoration.
We look at what is published, who edits it, and which structures repeat. Theme responsibilities stay focused on presentation; site functionality belongs in appropriate extensions. Performance, keyboard access, semantic markup, and technical SEO are considered within implementation.
Publishing model
Agree on fields, reusable structures, and the editor’s level of control.
Frontend behavior
Build responsive templates and check navigation, forms where scoped, and content at realistic lengths.
Maintenance path
Review dependencies and update behavior so future changes do not rely on unexplained overrides.
Technologies & integrations
Tools chosen for the job.
- WordPress, PHP & Gutenberg
- Native content and theme development, with JavaScript or TypeScript for editor behavior where needed.
- REST API & GraphQL
- Content delivery interfaces for integrations or a separately scoped headless frontend.
- Astro or Next.js
- Possible headless frontends, selected for the site’s rendering and interaction requirements.
Existing systems & ongoing development
Modernize without discarding useful content.
We can improve an existing theme, replace fragile editing patterns, review plugin dependencies, and address implementation-level performance or accessibility issues. Content moves and URL changes need their own reviewed plan; development work does not imply an automatic migration.
Before we begin
Questions about WordPress Development.
Do you mainly install templates?
The focus is custom development: themes, structured content, editing workflows, and integrations. Existing components can be reused when they suit the project, but template installation is not the core service.
Is headless WordPress always a better choice?
No. A conventional WordPress site is often simpler to edit, preview, host, and maintain. Headless is useful when a separate frontend or multiple delivery channels justify those tradeoffs.
What does technical SEO cover here?
Development can address semantic markup, crawlable pages, metadata handling, and performance. This is part of building the site, not a standalone SEO campaign or a ranking promise.
